A poem for the earth

Be   Man  Kind
Okay, let's cut to the truth!
It's time to tear down your dams
dismantle your bombs
stop clearcutting trees
turn off the engine of growth
let it rest
let it rust
oxidize and recycle
every anxious effort
you ever made
to go beyond
the carrying capacity
of your heart.
